Description
The MDP-01 Termit is an unmanned rotorcraft designed to perform reconnaissance and strike missions staying airborne for up to six hours. The helicopter is equipped with a nose-mounted pod encompassing IR/TV cameras as well as laser rangefinder and laser designator. The Termit can be equipped with three laser-guided S-8L 80mm rockets with an effective range between 6-to-8 kilometers. The Termit weighs 450 kilograms developing a top speed of 150 kilometers per hour and cruising at 90 kilometers per hour. The aircraft ceiling is 3,500 meters. Russia started the mass production of the Termit drone in November 2023 with the aircraft expected to enter service in 2024.
