Description

The Hycore is a ground-based hypersonic cruise missile being developed by the Republic of Korea (RoK) and unveiled in December 2021. The RoK Army expects to conduct the first test firing of the new weapon within 2022. The Hycore hypersonic cruise missile consists of two solid fuel rockets similar to the Russian Zircon missile. The new weapon is expected to become operational beyond 2025.
