Description

The 9M83 is a highly maneuverable, Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) optimized to intercept aerodynamic targets such as aircraft and missiles. The guidance combines an Inertial Navigation System (INS) with semi-active radar guidance. The 9M83 missile has been integrated in the S-300V advanced air defense system.
