Design
The plastic body of the landmine has a convex face housing the fragmentation of approximately 600 ball bearings, behind which is the main plastic explosive charge. On the base of the landmine are two scissor-type legs made of steel.
On the top surface are two threaded detonator wells, sealed with plastic plugs.
These plugs are similar to the M18A1 each having two threaded sections at right angles to each other. One thread ends in a solid plug to seal the well during transit, while the other has a keyhole slot to accept the leads from an electrical detonator.
On the top surface of the casing is a peep sight to aid alignment but unlike the American Claymore, this sight is offset from the center and is built into the fuze well.
