Description
The 1L122 "Harmonium" (Cyrillic: 1Л122 «Гармонь») is an L-band short-range air surveillance and target acquisition radar with an instrumented range of 40 km and an accuracy of 100 m. It operates with an antenna rotation speed of 15 or 30 rpm. Two versions exist: the 1L122-1 is a portable variant featuring a 1.2 × 0.8 m antenna, consuming 800 W at 28 V, and powered by an electric generator. The 1L122-2 is a higher-performance version mounted on a caterpillar chassis, equipped with a larger 1.9 × 1.8 m antenna aperture.
