Description

The Jobaria is a multiple cradle launcher (MCL) system developed by the Roketsan of Turkey to meet the requirements of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces. The UAE military intends to use the Jobaria as the replacement for aging BM-21 122mm rocket artillery systems supplied by the former Soviet Union. The Jobaria weapon system consists of a 6x6 heavyweight tractor truck system towing a 10x10 trailer which is fitted with four double 6x5 122mm rocket launchers totaling an impressive 240 TR-122 122mm rockets delivered by a single Jobaria system. The system only needs two minutes to launch its full payload of 240 rockets operate by a crew of three-man. Another team with specially designed vehicles can re-load the Jobaria within 30 minutes. The Jobaria was cleared for deployment by the UAE Armed Forces in August 2018.
