Description

The US Air Force (USAF) Counter Communications Systems (CCS) is a ground-based, offensive electronic warfare system developed by L3Harris Technologies and designed to jamming satellite communications. The system consists of a series of trailer mounted communications dishes/antennas and associated equipment which is intended to terminate satellite communications with ground stations. The CCS initial version was deployed by the USAF in 2004 and was transferred to the new US military branch, the US Space Force (USSF), in March 2020.
