Description
The Marauder is an armored, mine-protected vehicle that is produced by Paramount Group in South Africa. It was launched during the 2007 International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) and Conference in Abu Dhabi, the largest arms exhibition in the Middle East.

The Marauder can provide ballistic protection in both the crew compartment and engine compartment (except grille) against 5.56 mm and 7.62 mm small arm ammunition.
Applique Armor
Available, The vehicle has blast protection of STANAG 4569 levels 3A and 3B standards (protection against 8 kg TNT beneath the hull and the wheel and 50 kg of TNT side blast). This could be increased to Level 4 standards with add-on kits. IED protection kits have also been developed and can be rapidly fitted to the vehicles.
