Description

The VCC 80 Dardo is an infantry fighting vehicle armed with a 25mm gun, a 7.62mm machine gun, and two turret-mounted single TOW missile launcher in each side. It will transport infantry to the front-line providing protection and fire support to them. It will replace current VCC (upgraded M113) vehicles in the Italian Army armored regiments. The VCC 80 Dardo armored vehicle will provide high mobility and high firepower. The Dardo vehicle can be equipped with different turrets assuming anti-tank, command and control, and recovery missions.
