Description

The SR Hawk™ (part number SRC2401C) is a Ku-band ground surveillance radar operating at frequencies between 16.21 and 16.50 GHz. It provides continuous 360-degree surveillance with an instrumented range of 48 km, offering an accuracy of 10 meters and 0.2 degrees, with beamwidths of 1.9 degrees (azimuth) and 3.8 degrees (elevation). This single system detects personnel, land vehicles, marine vessels, avian targets, and low-flying aircraft such as uncrewed aerial systems (UAS), making it suitable for ground, air, border, and perimeter surveillance, counter-UAS mission support, port and harbor surveillance, wind farm bird strike avoidance, avian surveillance, and artillery spotting. The radar can be configured with a platform to mount an auxiliary subsystem, such as a slew-to-cue electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) camera for visual target identification.
