The Kombat is a highly subsonic anti-tank guided missile round designed to be fired from main battle tanks utilizing 125mm guns. It was developed by Luch Design Bureau of Ukraine to equip T-72, T-80UD, T-84 and modernized T-64 main battle tanks. The primary target for the Kombat missile round are moving or stationary main battle tanks, fortifications and helicopters flying at low altitude. The missile's tandem hollow charge warhead is designed to take out explosive reactive armor (ERA) and composite armor protected tanks. The semi-automatic laser beam guided missile has a range of 5,000 meters and can penetrate more than 750mm of reinforced armor.
