Description

The Krona, Krona-E export market designation, is a new short-range air defense system intended to protect industrial facilities, warehouses, communications centers and urban infrastructure from attacks carried out by medium-class drones. The Krona was developed by the Kalashnikov Concern to operate as stationary or mobile system using its own means of detection and destruction of potential targets. The Krona air defense system is capable of firing 9M340 or 9M333 surface-to-air missiles at a maximum range of 5-10 kilometers and altitudes below 5,000 meters. The system was unveiled in February 2025.
