Description
The BRADAR S 200R Saber is a secondary surveillance radar operating in the L-band, designed for air traffic control and compatible with the international SIF Standard Mark XII. It has an instrumented range of 200 nautical miles (370 km) and was developed as part of Brazil's "Saber" (Aerial target monitoring system based on high-frequency radiation) radar program. While primarily a standalone system, the S 200R can also be integrated with primary radar sets, and a variant, the S 60, offers a reduced range of 90 km for coupling with the Saber M60 primary radar.
