Description
The Falcon X is a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Electronic Warfare (EW) aircraft designed and developed by Dassault Aviation to meet the requirements of the French Air Force under the ARCHANGE program. The Falcon X is based upon the Dassault Falcon 8X business jet integrating the CUGE EW payload from Thales among other state-of-the-art electronic equipment. The French Defense Procurement Agency (DGA) will order three aircraft as the replacement for two C-160 Gabriel aircraft beginning in 2025. The contract for the Falcon X development was announced in January 2020.
