Bell 205/UH-1 Iroquois, also known as the Huey, is a light utility helicopter suitable for a variety of missions and available for both military and civil customers. UH-1 can conduct missions such as medical evacuation, command and control, vertical assault, personnel and equipment transport, gunship, etc. It was widely used in the Vietnam war with more than 5,000 units deployed to the theater of operations in Southeast Asia. Typically Bell 205/UH-1 family of helicopters are powered by one T53 turboshaft engine.
