Description

The Kheibar is a medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) developed by the Islamic Republic of Iran and unveiled in May 2023. The Kheibar missile features radar-evading equipment and can be launched with very short notice requiring minimal preparation. The missile has a maximum range of 2,000 kilometers carrying a payload of 1,500-kilogram (320-kg) which makes the new weapon a trump card to strike Israel. The Islamic Republic of Iran describes the new missile as both a tactical and strategic weapon.
