Description
The French Navy Falcon 2000 Albatros is a maritime surveillance and intervention aircraft developed under the AVISMAR program. The new aircraft is based upon the Dassault Falcon 2000LXS business jet platform. The Falcon 2000 Albatros will feature a multifunction radar under the fuselage, a high-performance optronic turret, observation windows, a Search And Rescue (SAR) kit release system and dedicated communication systems. The first batch for seven aircraft was announced on November 19, 2020 with deliveries beginning in 2025. The French Navy plans call for the delivery of 12 aircraft.
