Description

The Hormuz-1 is a tactical ballistic missile developed by the Islamic Republic of Iran based upon the Fateh-110 and intended to perform as anti-ship and/or anti-radiation weapon. The Hormuz-1 is equipped with a 600-kg warhead and has maximum range of 250-300 kilometers achieving a top speed of Mach 4-5. The seeker uses a passive/active radar seeker. The Hormuz-1 missile was unveiled in July 2014 entering service in 2015 or 2016.
