Description
The 9A82 is a missile launcher based upon a tracked chassis and associated with the S-300V air defense system family. Each 9A82 Tractor, Erector and Launcher (TEL) vehicle carries two 9M82 interceptors. The launcher was developed and introduced by the former Soviet Union in the late 1980s. The S-300V missile systems employ tracked chassis as part of their capability to be deployed almost anywhere including extreme cold climates.
