Rodeur French Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)
Rodeur

The Rodeur French Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is designed for a lightweight logistics footprint. According to the manufacturer, the air vehicle can be assembled in less than ten minutes by two operators, which includes approximately three minutes of actual assembly time, before being catapulted from a simple prepared area. The standard package includes a ground control station stored in a flight case measuring about 1.55 m by 0.85 m. This package contains one Rodeur 330 UAV, two rugged GETAC V110 laptops, two control gamepads, one radio device, two battery chargers, one antenna tripod, and a set of antennas for various ranges. Flight paths can be set using programmed waypoints, and the UAV features a racetrack mode for patrolling areas of interest, as well as automatic guidance to targets through an embedded metric precision terminal guidance system. Training for operators takes about one week, while maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) training also requires one week. This efficient training process supports rapid deployment in maneuver or artillery units.
