Description

The ARMA is a family of modular wheeled combat vehicles featuring high mobility and outstanding ballistic and mine protection thanks to its high hardness monocoque steel hull and anti-mine seats. Its design allows integration of a variety of mission-specific equipment or armament. Besides, the hull is protected against Nuclear, Bacteriological and Chemical (NBC) threats. Tire run flat capability and Central inflation system are supplied as standard equipment. The engine is located at the right front of the vehicle, allowing a high internal volume with the personnel keeping eye contact continuously among each other. In amphibious mode is powered by two hydraulically driven propellers. Otokar started the development of the ARMA wheeled combat vehicle family in 2007 and displayed the ARMA 6x6 vehicle at the Eurosatory exhibition in June 2010.
