Description

The Royal Tahi Navy Khamronsin class patrol boats have been designed to carry out anti-submarine warfare (ASW) missions. The propulsion system features two diesel engines developing 7,340-bhp of power and a top speed of 25 knots. The sensor package includes AWS-4 air and surface search radar and DSQS-21C hull-mounted sonar. The weapon system consists of an OTO 76mm gun, one 30mm gun, two 12.7mm machine guns and two triple 12.75mm torpedo tubes. The Royal Thai Navy commissioned three Khamronsin class ships between 1992 and 1993.
