Description
The Klever is a robotic 122mm self-propelled howitzer developed by Russia based upon the D-30 122mm towed gun. The system uses a tracked chassis with an autonomy of 400 kilometers and a top speed of 12 kilometers per hour cross crountry. The unmanned system is intended to spare the lives of artillery operators in the event of counter-battery fire. Russia expects to test the new artillery system in the Special Military Operation zone within 2024. The Klever robotic weapon system was unveiled in August 2024.
