Description

The XM1210, formerly known as XM1113ER, is a 155mm high explosive rocket assisted projectile (RAP) designed to meet the US Army requirements for the Extended Range Cannon Artillery (ERCA). General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems XM1210 projectile has a maximum range that exceeds 70 kilometers fired from a 58-caliber cannon or 40 kilometers fired from a 39-caliber howitzer. The XM1210 projectile was test fired at more than 70 kilometers in October 2021 and is planned for fielding within the US Army by 2023.
