Description
The MSSR 2000 I is a modular secondary surveillance radar (SSR) interrogator, operating at 1030/1090 MHz with a peak power of up to 2 kW. It serves as the standard interrogator for the ASR-E system and meets all European Mode S station requirements for elementary and enhanced surveillance, including ground-air data link and decentralized control in cluster applications. Conforming to ICAO Annex 10 and STANAG 4193 parts 1-4, it supports various interrogation modes, such as Mode 1, Mode A, and Mode C, which can be freely programmed in interlace sequences. Its modern design allows for future upgrades, including the incorporation of new modes like military Mode 5.
