Description
The DH-10 is a Chinese indigenous ground-based land attack cruise missile featuring standoff range and precision strike capabilities. The People's Liberation Army (PLA) is procuring this new weapon in large numbers primarily to engage targets in Taiwan's territory. According to the United States Department of Defense (DoD) Military Power of the People's Republic of China 2008 published in March 2008, the DH-10 cruise has maximum range in excess of 2,000 kilometers and the number of missiles deployed varies from 50 to 250 with an estimated 20 to 30 missile launchers. The DoD 2010 China Report estimates that China DH-10 holdings are between 200-500 missiles.
