Description

The Reutech Radar Systems RSR 906 is a South African-made X-band (IEEE) or I-band (NATO) battlefield surveillance radar. This fully coherent, low-cost, lightweight, Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar is optimized for the simultaneous detection of both air and surface targets, offering a low probability of intercept (LPI). It features an instrumented range of 80 km with an accuracy of 8 meters and 1 degree, operating at an average power of 40 W. The antenna, transceiver, and power amplifier are integrated into a single line-replaceable unit for mast or deployable frame mounting, with display options for local operators or integration into control centers.
