Description
The Royal Navy’s Common Combat Vessel (CCV) is a new warship intended to replace the Type 45 class destroyers in the late 2030s. The CCV warships are expected along the Type 91 (missiles), Type 92 (underwater sensors), Type 93 (underwater vehicle) and Type 94 (sensors) uncrewed platforms. The Royal Navy announced its commitment to procure at least six CCV warships in June 2026.
