Description
The Klevok-D2-Samolet is a hypersonic surface-to-air missile capable of taking out targets at ranges of up to 70 (40) kilometers utilizing a two-stage propulsion system. The missile is fired from a 207mm diameter container achieving an altitude of 611 meters after launch and a speed of Mach 2.5 thereafter a ramjet engine achieves a top speed of Mach 5 with the second engine burning for up to 42 seconds. The Klevok missile existence was revealed in November 2020 and is expected to be fired from the Pantsir air defense platform.
