Renault Sherpa 2/3

The Sherpa 3 is a 4x4, all-terrain, military truck intended to carry a 4.5-ton payload in support of rapid reaction forces. The high mobility Sherpa 3 features a reduced silhouette, advanced armor protection and a two-man crew and is able to receive a 10' flat bed with a 4.5-ton loading. In addition the Sherpa 3 cab can be equipped with retractable armor panels and add-on armor kits providing ballistic and mine protection. The Sherpa 3 tactical vehicle is available in many configurations which are air transportable and air droppable. The 10-ton class Sherpa 3 is powered by a 4-cylinder Euro 4 220-hp engine which allows for a maximum speed of 120 kph on road and a cruising range of 800 km at 70 kph with a 200-l fuel tank. Optional equipment includes: air conditioning, radio, add-on armor kits, engine speed control, central tire inflation system, adjustable steering wheel, roof-mounted 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine gun, heating system, etc.
