Description
The YLC-18 is a 3D gap-filler radar designed for medium-range, low-altitude air defense, operating in the S-band (IEEE designation) or E/F-band (NATO designation). It is primarily utilized for the detection of low- and medium-altitude aircraft, armed helicopters, and cruise missiles, with an instrumented range of at least 250 km and an accuracy of 100 meters in range and 0.3 degrees in azimuth. The system has been exported to several countries, including Pakistan and Sri Lanka, and features a mean time between critical failures (MTBCF) of at least 1,000 hours and a mean time to repair (MTTR) of 0.5 hours or less.
