The top of the landmine body has a stepped appearance, with reinforcing ribs molded around the sides and a threaded detonator cavity cap centered on the bottom.

Operating Pressure
180 to 300 kg when fitted with pressure plate, 10 kg without. When the required operating pressure of approximately 10kg is applied to the pressure plate, the load is transferred via the plunger and spring to the striker assembly. The transit plug must be removed in order to fit the detonator assembly.
Detection
The P2 Mk2 cannot be located using metal detectors under most field conditions.
