Description
The Blue Moon is a manned lunar lander being developed by Blue Origin to meet the requirements of NASA. The first flight of the Blue Moon lander is expected in 2029 onboard of the Artemis V space launch system mission. The lander will operate from the Gateway lunar space station and will carry a crew of two. NASA awarded a $3.4 billion contract to Blue Origin for the Blue Moon lander development on May 19, 2023.
