Description

The X-UAV is a new guided missile developed from the Kornet-D missile family and intended for use by airborne platforms such as helicopters and unmanned air vehicles (UAVs). The missile has a maximum range of 10 kilometers and is suitable against ground-based armored targets and airborne targets. The guidance system relies on laser beam riding technology tracking the target using infrared sensors. The X-UAV completed testing in December 2021 and is expected to be deployed onboard the Forpost and Orion/Inokhodets UAVs and Ka-52M attack helicopter.
