Lyra 10
The Leonardo Lyra 10 is an X-band ground surveillance radar system designed for homeland protection and man-portable applications. It employs intrapulse modulation and pulse compression techniques, operating with a low electromagnetic emission and an average power of 1 W. The system features a 70 × 40 × 25 cm patch antenna with a 3° beamwidth, providing an instrumented range of 24 km and a range resolution of 9 m. The Lyra 10 can detect and automatically classify targets such as people, vehicles, boats, and low-altitude helicopters, providing precise range and azimuth data. It is available in various configurations for fixed tower installations, vehicle mounting, and man-portable use.
