Description
The Juno is a daytime Earth Observation satellite designed to meet the requirements of the United Kingdom (UK) Ministry of Defense (MoD). This new spacecraft is expected to expand the British Armed Forces Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities. The Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL) company was awarded the £40 million contract in November 2024. The June spacecraft is expected to be placed into Low Earth Orbit (LEO) in 2027.
