The XA- are all-terrain, NBC-protected, modular, high mobility, 6x6 vehicles designed to carry out a wide range of missions. The first XA- models (XA-180, XA-185) were deployed in 1984. The XA-203 vehicles can be configured to ambulance, workshop, weapons carrier and troops carrier. The XA-203 can accommodate a great variety of modular turrets for different missions such as anti-tank and fire support. A better level of protection could be achieved through the use of add-on armor. The XA-203 can mount externally fire guns from 7.62mm to 90mm.
