Description
The Thunder 2000 is a multi-barrel rocket system developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences for the Taiwanese Army. This high precision artillery system has been designed to provide coastal defense against amphibious assault operations in the shores of Taiwan. Besides, it provides artillery fire support in the battlefield taking out personnel and soft armored targets. The Thunder 2000 multi-barrel rocket system utilizes 12 artillery tubes mounted on a high mobility 8x8 truck.
