ZZH-09 (Type 09) Chinese 8x8 Amphibious Armor Personnel Carrier (APC) is equipped with the equipment required to conduct C2 at a brigade level. Like many of the support platforms based on this family, it is designed to have matching mobility and protection so that it can work with the formation on the battlefield. The platform is known to be in service and may have the designation ZZH-09, which stands for Armoured, Combat Service Support, and Command respectively.

Variants

PLL-09 (Type 09) Modular Self-propelled Howitzer system Based on IFV variant. Can be armed with either a 122mm or 155mm howitzer, to provide indirect fire support for infantry.

ZTL-11 The ZTL-11 is the direct fire support version of the Type 09 family. It is equipped with a 105 mm direct fire gun and is capable of defeating heavily armored targets if engaged from opportune ranges or in an ambush. The vehicle is designed to provide a combined arms brigade with enough organic firepower to defeat the majority of opposition encountered. The ZTL designation stands for armored (Z), assault gun (T), and wheeled (L).

ZZH-09 C2 This variant of the Type 09 family is equipped with the equipment required to conduct C2 at a brigade level.
