Description
The Invar-M is an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) fired from 125mm smoothbore cannons and featuring increased accuracy compared with previous ATGMs such as Refleks. The Invar-M has a maximum range of 5,000 meters with an average speed of 350 meters per second. It is equipped with a tandem shaped warhead with the first warhead penetrating up to 900mm of reinforced armor and the second detonating inside the tank. Besides, the new guided missile is intended to take out helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles. The Invar-M missile was being fired from the upgraded Sprut-SDM1 airborne troops tank during field trials in 2016.
