Description

The Force Protection Cougar Tactical Support Vehicle (TSV) is intended to provide survivable logistics support capability essential for mobile operations. Based on the successful Cougar/Mastiff 6X6, TSV is a multi-mission adaptable platform that can be configured to address a wide range of support tasks having the highest levels of mine blast protection. In November 2008, the Cougar TSV/Wolfhound along with the Husky and Coyote vehicles were chosen by the UK Ministry of Defense (MoD) as the preferred bidders for a £350 million program for around 400 brand new armored support trucks to support military operations in Afghanistan. The Wolfhounds will support and re-supply the Mastiffs/Cougar 6x6 in the highest threat areas.
