Description

The Barracuda-M is a family of small, low-cost, medium-range cruise missiles developed by Anduril to meet the requirements of the United States Armed Forces. The missile family was developed based on the Barracuda AAV loitering munition. The Barracuda-M 500, also known as Barracuda 500, features a maximum range of more than 900 kilometers carrying a 45-kilogram warhead. The missile can be launched by a wide variety of airborne platforms such as AH-64, F-15, F-16, F-18 and F-35. In May 2026, the US Army ordered 3,000 surface-launched Barracuda-500M (SLB-500M) cruise missiles.
