Description
The Garpiya-1 is a short-range, piston-powered, strike drone designed to take out radar sites associated enemy air defenses and Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) sites. The Garpiya-1 has a maximum range of 100 kilometers carrying a 40 kilograms warhead. The Garpiya-1 drones are launched from land platforms in swarms to maximize the probability of success. The Russian Armed Forces introduced the new kamikaze drone in 2024/2025 in the Special Military Operation in Ukraine.
