Description

The HENSOLDT PrecISR™ 1000 (Precise Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) is a German-made airborne multi-mission surveillance radar operating in the X-band (IEEE designation) or I-band (NATO designation). It excels at detecting and tracking small targets, even in high sea swells, from high altitudes, while also providing seamless transition to long-range reconnaissance up to 370 km. This software-defined radar features an active electronically scanned array (AESA) antenna utilizing Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, offering 360° continuous mechanical rotation with an inertia-free electronic scan of ±60° in azimuth and ±30° in elevation, supporting modes such as Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) with a range resolution of less than 0.15 m, and Inverse SAR.
