Description
The Koksan, also known as M1978, is a 170mm self-propelled artillery system designed to hit targets at a range between 40 and 60 kilometers away. The Koksan howitzer was developed by North Korea in the late 1970s and was first exported to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the early 2000s. The artillery system was supplied to Russia in 2024.
