Description
The RAPIDFire Land is a ground-based air defense system developed between Thales and KNDS to provide short-range air defense based upon the 40mm RAPIDFire gun system. The new air defense system is offered in two versions: mobile on an 8x8 wheeled chassis and semi-mobile. The RAPIDFire Land air defense system was unveiled in June 2025 and may enter service by 2030.
