Description

The IMR-3MA or IMR-2MA is an obstacle remover armored vehicle evolved from the T-90 Main Battle Tank (MBT) chassis. It has been designed to clear paths for the armored units. It features a multipurpose dozer blade, crane, and mine clearance plough. It is powered by a four-stroke multi-fuel diesel V-84MS liquid-cooled engine developing 840-hp and a top speed of 62 kph on-road. The whole vehicle can be operate under armor by a crew of two-man, a 12.7mm anti-aircraft machine gun has been provided for self-defense purposes. The IMR-3MA entered service with the Russian Army in the 1990s.
