Description
The Qassed, Herald in English, is a 2,000-lb class guided-bomb family developed by Iran under its weapons program started in 1992 as a response to the United States arms embargo. The Qassed guided bomb passed the flight test-firing campaign in 2006 and entered active service with the Iranian Air Force in 2007.
