Description

The I-VIEW Mk50 is the lightest and smallest member of the I-VIEW product line developed by IAI's MALAT Division. It has been designed to provide close range intelligence at the brigade level or with special operation forces. It can be operated by a crew of two-man on a single vehicle. Equipped with a line-of-sight data-link as standard equipment, the I-VIEW 50 aerial vehicle accepts MiniPOP (TV/IR) or a customer furnished sensor suite payload. The I-VIEW aerial vehicle is powered by a nose-mounted two-blade propeller. A single I-VIEW 50 system includes a two-man crew (operator + mission commander), two aerial vehicles, and a C130 transportable HMMWV-sized vehicle acting as the ground control station, spare parts and carrier vehicle. So far, the I-VIEW 50 system is in operation with the Israel Armed Forces and an undisclosed export customer as reported by IAI February 2007.
