Description
The 40V6MR is a mast-mounted radar system intended to detect targets flying at low altitudes at longer ranges than the 91N6E surveillance radar. The 40V6MR is an optional element of the S-400 air defense system which entered service on April 28, 2007. This mobile mast system has four wheels and must be towed by a 6x6 or 8x8 truck system.
